Large Uploads

For any large upload, which is mainly any video upload, you will need to install the FileZilla FTP client to upload your video.  This is an easy installation and is an easy program to use.  It should only take a couple of minutes.  To install FileZilla, follow the instructions below. 

FileZilla Installation Instructions

  1. Go to http://filezilla-project.org/
  2. Under Quick download links, click the Download FileZilla Client
  3. If you have Microsoft Windows, click FileZilla_3.2.8.1_win32-setup.exe (recommended).  It will be the first file listed. 
  4. If the file does not begin to download automatically, where you see a File Download dialogue box, then click the download manually option at the top of the screen.
  5. When the File Download dialogue box appears, click Run
  6. If a Security Warning - the publisher could not be verified appears, click Run. If no security warning appears, proceed to step 7.
  7. Click I Agree under the License Agreement
  8. Choose whether you want to make this software available to all users or just yourself.  It's up to you.  Click Next. 
  9. In the Choose Components dialogue box, add a check by clicking the open box beside Desktop Icon.  Click Next
  10. In the Choose Install Location dialogue box, click Next
  11. In the Choose Start Menu Folder dialogue box, click Install
  12. After installation, click Finish
  13. If FileZilla does not start automatically, you can open it from your destop.  If a FileZilla icon is not on your desktop, you can open it from the Start menu under programs.
